What's happening: Last week marked an exciting milestone for the Ramsey School District, introducing its inaugural Kindergarten Signing Day, a spirited event that welcomed the newest members of the Rams family.
More than 70 eager young minds, along with their families, gathered at both Tisdale and Hubbard Schools - offering them a glimpse of the vibrant school community they will soon call home when they begin their educational journey in September 2024.
RAMbassadors from Dater, Smith, and Ramsey High School were on hand, accompanied by the beloved Rowdy, the district mascot. Together, they provided a warm and playful atmosphere, engaging with the young students and sparking excitement for their upcoming school years.
For parents, the event was equally enriching, offering them the opportunity to connect with various school groups and learn more about the educational opportunities and resources available within the Ramsey School District.
The bottom line: With Kindergarten Signing Day serving as a precursor to the start of formal education, the Ramsey School District demonstrated its commitment to fostering a sense of belonging and community right from the very beginning of a student's academic journey.
