What's happening: In a heartwarming display of compassion and solidarity, the Ramsey community recently came together to support the Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge fundraiser, making a significant impact on the lives of animals in need. 
The efforts of Ramsey S.T.E.P. students, aged 14 to 21, were particularly highlighted as they played a pivotal role in collecting donations and spearheading fundraising initiatives. In addition to the generous donations of goods, the fundraiser also succeeded in raising $585 in monetary contributions, further demonstrating the community's unwavering support for the shelter's mission.
The bottom line: The collaborative effort between Hubbard School and Ramsey High School's S.T.E.P. program exemplifies the power of community unity and collective action. Special recognition was extended to staff members, particularly Mrs. Lakind and Mrs. Coleman, for their instrumental role in coordinating donations at Hubbard School.
