What's happening: The highly celebrated author-illustrator, Jarrett Lerner, recently visited Hubbard and Tisdale Schools with his inspiring presence, electrifying both staff and students alike. This incredible interaction, generously sponsored by both the Hubbard and Tisdale PTOs, and collaborated by our Media Specialists, Lerner's visit was a true gift. Beyond a visit - it was an unforgettable encounter with creativity and brilliance.
The students had a front-row seat to the mind of a genius, sparking inspiration and creativity. This was indeed a day of great learning and motivation at Hubbard and Tisdale.
Known for his diverse range of children's books, his works include:

In addition, Lerner's activity books, Give This Book a Title and Give This Book a Cover, and the Nat the Cat early readers series, have also garnered worthy attention and popularity.
Lerner's illustrated novel in verse, A Work in Progress, has received multiple starred reviews and awards, and was a Kids’ Indie Next List pick, featured in the 2023 Global Read Aloud.
