Going Deeper:
Throughout the month, during library classes, we will also celebrate the works of diverse and contemporary authors whose stories highlight themes of tolerance, diversity, adversity, kindness, triumph, empathy, and acceptance.
As we read aloud to students, we aim to ensure that books serve as both windows and mirrors:
🔹 A mirror reflects your own life and helps you build your identity.
🔹 A window offers a view into someone else’s experience.
It’s essential for students to not only learn about themselves but also to understand the experiences of others.
Let’s make this a memorable and meaningful celebration of reading! 📚✨
