Right before spring break, the hallways of Hubbard School were buzzing with creativity as students celebrated one of the most anticipated events of the year—Fine Arts Day. Sponsored by the Hubbard PTO, this special day gave students from preschool through third grade the chance to engage in hands-on workshops led by professional artists and passionate volunteers.
From learning the basics of stop motion animation to sculpting with clay and designing colorful collages, students were immersed in the world of art through a variety of mediums. Each experience was carefully designed to nurture self-expression, critical thinking, and collaboration—core values at the heart of the Ramsey district.
"Ramsey has a beautiful respect for the arts, and it all starts here at the elementary level," shared one teacher. "Fine Arts Day isn’t just about making art—it’s about sparking curiosity and inspiring students to see themselves as artists."
The event would not have been possible without the incredible support of the Hubbard PTO and the many parent volunteers who helped throughout the day. Their time, energy, and enthusiasm helped bring each station to life and made the experience unforgettable for students.
As students proudly walked the halls with their creations in hand, it was clear: the joy of creating, exploring, and learning together is what makes Hubbard School truly special.
