Robotics

Ramsey Robotics is off to a great start! Thank you to Mr. Jeremy Truppi and Mr. Dale Poage, Smith School Teachers since 2004, for leading our Smith and RHS teams.

🐏 Why it matters: Robotics is another example of our commitment to provide something for every Ram.

  • Robotics competitions require teams to develop strategies and build robots based on sound engineering principles.

  • Students develop enthusiasm and self-confidence in STEM by honing other real-world skills, including teamwork, curiosity, creative problem-solving, project management, and leadership.

What they’re saying: “The Ramsey Public Education Fund (RPEF)  and the Lego Robotics Club at Dater run by Mr. Roger Quinlan have generated support and enthusiasm which have helped us expand rapidly.  We are fortunate. Ramsey has embraced robotics, and we look forward to creating more STEM opportunities for the community in the future.” -Mr. Jeremy Truppi

What’s next: Our Ramsey teams look forward to their next robotics competition on Saturday, November 18, at Ridgewood H.S.
