🎉 Congratulations to Smith Middle School student, Isabella Chimbay, the 2023-2024 Lions Club Peace Poster Contest winner for District 16 N in New Jersey.
Fast forward: 🏆 Following her district win, her poster was chosen as the overall state winner, against the Central and South Jersey finalists. As a result, Isabella’s poster will now be sent on to Chicago (Lions Headquarters) for judging against posters from children around the world.
The big picture: This year’s contest theme, Dare to Dream, was chosen by the Lions Club to provide an outlet for children to share their vision for the future. The Lions Club invited participants to create their own interpretation through art, showing how they’ll turn their dream of a peaceful world into reality.
