Ramsey High School and Dater School both hosted fall theater performances within the last week. Both programs were hugely successful.

By the numbers: Over 300 students, staff, and members of the community filled the new Band Room and were wowed by Ramsey Drama Club’s delightful fall production of Almost, Maine. What an amazing launch to the 23-24 Theatre Season.

Dater School Musical: Finding Nemo Jr.
The Dater Musical gives elementary students the opportunity to get their feet wet with theatre performance. Having this creative outlet is not just part of a well-rounded education; it's essential for emotional health and well-being.
Why it matters: Preparing for musicals provides growth opportunities for all varieties of learners. Besides being incredibly fun, musical theater helps young people develop skills like self-confidence, literacy, communication, creativity, empathy, critical thinking and problem-solving, self-direction, collaboration and teamwork.

Starting in September, students auditioned for their roles, and spent 6 weeks preparing their music, lines, and choreography.
