The 2023 Young Entrepreneurs Holiday Market will be held on Wednesday, December 13 from 4-6pm in the Smith School cafeteria. This student-run event contains all of the facets of running of a business including cost/profit analysis, marketing, design and product creation, giving them a 360-degree view of business operations.
By the numbers:
There are over 45 students participating.
There are 25 unique booths selling handmade items, food, and hosting live events this year.
Enrollment has DOUBLED after only one year of operation!
Students will donate 10 percent of their profits to an agreed-upon charity following the event.
👀 In 2022, the club donated over $200 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
One fun thing: The market is open to the community! Please stop in to support our Young Entrepreneurs! It is a perfect opportunity to do some very local holiday shopping, all while supporting the work of our students outside the walls of the classroom!
