On October 12th and 13th, Dater School’s dynamic 4th and 5th grade students participated in very cool retreat designed to ignite community spirit!
Why it matters: Participating in team building activities empowers students to forge more powerful, meaningful connections with their classmates. It's an adventure of discovery, friendship and unity!
The retreat entailed eight, 30-minute activities. Outside activities were held to encourage students to use respectful communication skills to complete tasks.
When inside, students participated in activities that helped students get to know more about their classmates.
The big picture: Having students participate in community building activities supports creating a positive school culture.
