What's happening: Hubbard, Tisdale and Dater Schools joined over two million students worldwide in celebrating Global School Play Day!
The big picture: The benefits of such an event extend well beyond the classroom. Organized in a technology-free setting, Global School Play Day provided an opportunity for the staff to:
Observe interactive communication between students,
Facilitate new learning styles,
Provide a fresh perspective in a hands-on learning environment,
Use flexible seating arrangements as a means to observe changes in student focus, comfort and concentration,
Experience learning success in the supportive group dynamics, demonstrated by a stronger focus.
Why it matters: Staff can now explore ways to integrate these observations into future learning experiences:
Promote engagement with new material,
Provide a fresh outlook on group learning dynamics,
Support student focus during learning activities, and
Create a more dynamic and effective educational environment for our students.
