Dater School will be hosting our annual Halloween parade on the afternoon of October 31st.
Please make sure that you are lined up outside by 1:00 pm. The parade will start inside the building promptly at 1:10. The 5th graders will parade first, followed by the 4th graders.
Here are the standards for our Halloween costumes:
Students should bring their Halloween costume to school in their backpack. No Halloween costumes should be worn to school in the morning. Students will change into their costumes before the parade.
For safety reasons, please make sure that your child’s costume is not too long so they can safely walk in the parade.
Costumes should be safe, appropriate for school, and non-violent.
Toy weapons will not be allowed to accompany a costume (i.e swords, knives, guns, bow and arrow, etc.)
Masks will ONLY BE ALLOWED during the parade as long as students can safely see out of them.
We look forward to seeing you there!
