Game day with Wissell/McGowan! So much fun!



Students in Mrs. Wissell's math class had the real world experience of ordering from a menu as an individual with a limit of $50 and as a group with a limit of $100. This real world application of the skills of adding and subtracting decimals was highly engaging and effective!



Students in 4Kirch/ McLaud Humanities had the opportunity to share their insightful opinion essays with their classmates. Presenting in front of the class is a great way to build confidence and sharpen up their public speaking skills.





Dater students had a blast at the Wizards game! They loved seeing their principal and teachers shoot some hoops. 🏀🏀🏀 Also, great job to Mr. J and the pep band for putting on a fantastic performance!! 🎷🥁🎺 Thank you to Officer Beamon and the Harlem Wizards for setting up such a fun and entertaining night!







Great job to Girl Scout Troop 98133 who presented at Dater's Spirit Day assembly about their service project today. They are collecting donations of toiletries and new or unopened baby products. It will all be donated to the Children's Aid and Family Services of Bergen County. Deadline to donate is April 11th. Way to go, girls!




Kate and Natalia, seniors from Ramsey High School, bring stories to life for Read Across America! They engaged young readers with The True Story of the Three Little Pigs and Curious George at the Chocolate Factory.



Students in 5Modesto/Azouri explored the grammar of a compliment by taking time to write a specific, kind, and positive compliment for each of their classmates!









Many smiles were had as 5th grade Spanish students finished up their foods unit with a board game! 🎲♟️😊

Introducing 5Jezequel, the new 5th grade class in charge of morning announcements. They are doing an awesome job!



Ms. Perucki, the clinical intern from Ramapo College in Mrs. Jezequel's 5th grade Humanities class, is doing a spectacular job! Today's lesson was a strategy for using context clues to discover the meaning of unknown words. Vocabulary increases as well as the understanding of life in Ancient Greece.
