4Davidson and 4O'Rourke were amazed and shocked when they learned they could write on the desks with expo markers in 4th grade. Who knew being so messy could actually lead to such good learning?!
4Kirch/McLaud got to learn how to play the game "matamoscas" (fly swatter) in Señorita's Spanish class! Students race to swat the correct Spanish question word hung up on the wall :)

Dater's 🐏 Spirit Day assembly was jam-packed with fun!! They heard about upcoming recess specials, learned about Hispanic Heritage Month (and did some Salsa dancing!! 💃), and were introduced to the new character trait of the month: Courage. They also celebrated their September winners and watched students with good sportsmanship take "The Impossible Shot." Way to go, Dater students!!
Dater students LOVE reading! 🩷 When the ITC does not have a book that a student wants, Mrs. Lawley contacts Hubbard or Tisdale to have the book sent over. Thank you Mrs. Lakind for making this student's day!! 😃📚🎉
Mrs. Aujero's 5th grade and Ms. Guarnieri's 4th grade buddy classes came together to build relationships while studying themes and lessons from some of our favorite mentor texts. These literary and real world lessons will launch an ongoing collaboration between our Dater leaders all year! GO RAMS!

What a incredible opportunity for 4Guarnieri and 5Aujero to come together during our morning meeting! The students united to read some key mentor texts, and explore potential themes.
