Our Holiday Sing for HU was wonderful! 🎶 The students brought so much joy and festive spirit to the stage, spreading cheer throughout the school. It was a magical celebration of music, community, and the holiday season!
2-Finnegan is hard at work in their nonfiction writing unit, and they’re excited to gift their writing to their family members to enjoy! The gift of knowledge and creativity that keeps on giving!
When your classmate brings in dreidels for his friends as part of his Holiday Share & Tell and it becomes part of our science lesson on Force and Movement. He taught us how to pinch our fingers to both push and pull on the thin wooden part at the top which causes the dreidel to spin.
Third graders worked hard to craft their personal narratives, pouring creativity and effort into their writing. Within this unit, students participated in meaningful teacher shares, reflecting on their progress and learning from one another—an essential part of the workshop model.
3-Jordan using cube trains to explore multiplication and division! These hands-on tools help visualize grouping, repeated addition, and sharing, making math concepts come to life.
Students in 1-Berland are using a multimodal approach to explore science as part of our Light and Sound unit! 💡 As they walk around the school, they’re noticing their surroundings and writing down their observations, including the sounds they hear. It’s a fun and interactive way to bring science to life through movement, listening, and writing.
We are beyond thankful for Ms. McDonald, who not only teaches music but also helps instill the Profile of a Ramsey Graduate competencies in all of our learners. Through her lessons, she fosters key skills like communication, collaboration, and creativity, empowering students to express themselves and work together harmoniously 💙💛
