Commitment to School Safety

Ramsey School District is dedicated to cultivating a secure and nurturing educational environment for every student within its care. We believe that every student deserves an opportunity to learn in an environment where they can flourish intellectually, emotionally, and socially.

In pursuit of this commitment, we prioritize the safety and well-being of our students above all else, fostering an atmosphere where they feel valued, respected, and supported in their academic journey. Through proactive measures, comprehensive policies, and vigilant supervision, we provide a school environment where students can explore, learn, and grow without fear or distraction.

The resources on this page can assist students and their families when additional support may be necessary.

Safety Resources

Ramsey School District’s commitment to student safety also includes each of its five campuses within the community. We maintain comprehensive safety protocols, conduct regular drills, and collaborate closely with local law enforcement to fortify security measures and swiftly address any concerns that may arise.

Through these collective efforts, we aim to foster an atmosphere where students can focus on their academic pursuits with confidence, knowing that their well-being is our top priority.

Harassment, Intimidation & Bullying

Our main goal should be a school culture in which every young person has friends, in which anyone who is harassed gets support, and in which problems are solved in nonviolent ways. There will always be conflicts, and there will always be young people who try to bully others. We want to create a peer culture in which students who bully will hear from peers.

Reports of bullying may be submitted to the appropriate School Anti-Bullying Coordinator or the building administration.

Reporting a Concern

Students and family members have the power to help others by putting an end to unsafe or inappropriate behavior they experience themselves, or observe elsewhere. Students can use the districted-supported application to obtain help if they or a peer are facing a crisis or experiencing bullying, abuse or are in need of mental health support.
