The 7th grade visited the Bronx Zoo on Thursday, October 17th!
Students got to explore the wonders of the largest Urban Zoo in the country on a chilly Fall morning with teacher chaperones.
By The Numbers: The Bronx Zoo is home to over 11,000 animals, representing more than 640 species!
Why it matters: Zoos offer a rich learning environment where students can see animals up close, learn about their behaviors, diets, and ecosystems, which can enhance their understanding of biology and ecology beyond the walls of their classroom
