Wednesday, January 15th was our Winter Pep Rally!
All three grades gathered in the gym to show support for our Winter Sports such as Girls & Boys Basketball and Wrestling
Coach Clinton, Coach Taylor, and Coach Romeo all had the opportunity to speak about the Winter Sports season so far and invite the school community to come out and support their games & matches.
The 6th grade advanced band, led by Ms. Hanratty & Mr. Stephenson, also helped to hype up the crowd and provided entry music for the pep rally.
Chef O had the opportunity to speak about Charity Challenge and provide an update on team standings leading up to the event in June- team points were tied at the start of our event!
Students and staff also participated in Relay Race style events aimed to boost school spirit! Teachers of each team dressed as their team’s mascot to race against one another, while student representatives from each homeroom participated in a “Paper Relay” event to win points for Charity Challenge
Our staff winner was Mr. Blacido for Team WHITE🐏
Our student winner was Team BLUE💙
This resulted in a TIE BREAKER competition between the teachers resulting in ultimate victory for Team WHITE🐏
Smith’s Pep Rally even had a special visit from Rowdy the Ram!
