On Friday May 19, 2023, at 5:30 PM on Ramsey's Finch Field 2, two 10U Ramsey Travel baseball teams, comprised of our very own Dater students, will be participating in the 3rd Annual Class of 2031 Tommy Strong Fundraiser Baseball Game.
The boys are raising funds and awareness once again for the Tommy Strong Foundation in honor of their beloved friend, classmate, and honorary teammate, Tommy FitzPatrick.
Last year, these little sluggers raised an incredible $10,000 at the Tommy Strong game thanks to the generous donations of our Ramsey families and friends, the RBSA, and our Ramsey community. 100% of that money went to Dr. Derek Hanson's team at the Center for Discovery and Innovation for Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Lab, to expand the brain tumor research program and, ultimately, to bring new and innovative treatments to children with brain tumors.
At just 9 and 10 years old, these boys are making a huge difference. Tommy's legacy is teaching our young children to do great things and that this game is so much more than just baseball. They are learning compassion, empathy for others, altruism, and acts of service. This is a game that we plan to see through their graduating year in 2031.

Thank you for helping the Class of 2031 strike out pediatric cancer!!! We will have new Tommy Strong merchandise for sale at the game in addition to great raffle baskets, a 50/50 and some other special surprises. Coach Urbanovich and the Ramsey High School Varsity baseball team will also be making an appearance once again. If you can make it, we would love to see you there as well!!
Regardless of the scoreboard, both teams will come out of this game winners for helping the Tommy Strong Foundation and for helping other children and their families who are in need. We are so proud of our boys, your students, and wanted to share this with you.
