Dater

On October 12th and 13th, Dater School’s dynamic 4th and 5th grade students participated in very cool retreat designed to ignite community spirit!

Why it matters: Participating in team building activities empowers students to forge more powerful, meaningful connections with their classmates. It's an adventure of discovery, friendship and unity!

  • The retreat entailed eight, 30-minute activities. Outside activities were held to encourage students to use respectful communication skills to complete tasks.

  • When inside, students participated in activities that helped students get to know more about their classmates.

The big picture: Having students participate in community building activities supports creating a positive school culture.
