What's happening: Hubbard School second graders welcomed members of the Ramsey Police Department for a special educational visit last week. The officers introduced students to the science of fingerprinting, demonstrating how this crucial technique helps law enforcement solve cases and keep our community safe.
During the hands-on demonstration, students learned about fingerprint patterns and their uniqueness, with many getting the opportunity to see their own fingerprints through the process. The excitement was evident as children engaged with the officers, asking questions and participating in the activities.
These interactions represent more than just a fun break from routine classroom learning. They form an essential foundation for positive relationships between our youngest community members and local law enforcement. By meeting officers in a friendly, educational setting, students develop comfort and trust with the people who serve to protect them.
Everyone at Hubbard extends heartfelt appreciation to the Ramsey Police Department for their continued commitment to community engagement and for taking time to invest in these valuable relationships with our students.
