What's happening: Last week, students at Tisdale, Hubbard, and Dater Schools received valuable safety education during a visit from NJ TRANSIT. The staff delivered their "SAFETY RULES!" presentation, highlighting essential guidelines for staying safe around railroad tracks and stations.

The 45-minute interactive session engaged students with age-appropriate materials and videos designed to make important safety concepts both accessible and memorable.
Students learned critical safety rules including no trespassing on tracks, staying alert around rail systems, obeying all posted signs and signals, using only designated crossing areas, and standing behind safety lines on platforms.
Following the presentation, students participated in a question and answer session, giving them the opportunity to dig deeper into rail safety procedures.
