We are thrilled to announce that Mrs. Margarita Diakos, a dedicated and inspirational educator at Ramsey High School, has been honored as the Bergen County Teacher of the Year! She will serve in this role for the 2024-2025 school year. This is the first time a teacher from Ramsey has been recognized with this prestigious award.
Dater’s Fifth Graders are moving up to Smith Middle School! Families and caregivers packed the gym to watch this joyous moment. Ms. Rejent spoke about each class’s memories, funny moments, and what they look forward to at Smith! Congratulations to the Fifth Grade students!

What a great visit to Smith School! Our 5th graders are getting ready to become 6th graders soon!
🌟 What an incredible day for our Dater students! Our 5th Grade Field Day was a huge success! 🏃♀️🏅 The students had a blast participating in various activities, from relay races to pickleball. It was a day filled with laughter, teamwork, and lots of sunshine. Thank you to Mr. Carlberg, the PTO, and all the volunteers who helped make this an amazing day for the students!
🌞 Getting ready for the summer and more opportunities to enjoy the outdoors! Dater students are taking part in Yard Games Intramural, led by Mr. Quinlan!
🦐 Crawfish Hunt! 5th graders explored beyond the classroom and right into The New Weis Center. Students had a blast searching for crawfish and going on a forest scavenger hunt!
🌲 5th graders venture into the forest! 5th graders recently visited The New Weis Center for a field trip. They had a chance to experience a hike and explore the Highlands Region in Ringwood, NJ.
4th Grade students had a blast at this year's Field Day! 🎉 It was a day filled with fun activities focused on promoting positive well-being. Students showed their school spirit and teamwork by wearing their class colors! 🌟
