Cell phones must be LOCKED in Yondr pouches from 8-11am and 12-3pm.
Cell phone use permitted during lunch in designated spaces:
Cafeteria &
Upper Gym
Consequences are outlined in Policy #5516.02.

Ramsey High School - Cell Phone Policy
Ramsey High School we will begin using Yondr cell phone storage pouches effective January 7, 2025. This approach addresses classroom distractions, supports student engagement and will effectively enhance the student learning environment.
Based on an annual survey of just over 1,200 schools, here are some of the remarkable results stronger phone safety practices have accomplished:
86% saw a positive impact on student safety and wellness
84% saw a positive change in student engagement
72% saw a positive change in student behavior
68% saw a positive change in academic performance
