Jets Sports Business Day

RHS marketing students recently traveled to MetLife Stadium to attend Sports Business Day, hosted by the New York Jets and coordinated by Ms. Incardona and Mr. Baiera.

  • Students toured the facilities and learned about the business of sports from professionals currently working in the field. Throughout the tour, executives from various departments within the Jets organization shared insights with the students, discussing their roles, career journeys, and offering advice for those interested in pursuing a career in sports marketing.

What they’re saying: “Anytime you have an opportunity to bring high school students on a field trip, especially to see a real world venue like MetLife Stadium, it’s always a great opportunity. Mrs. Incardona did an amazing job planning this and our students had a great experience.” -Adam Baeira, RHS Business Teacher/Head Football Coach

The trip proved to be an eye-opening experience for the students, revealing the thrilling nature of professional sports, beyond the boundaries of the field. The trip underscored the fierce competition existing not only between athletes on the field but also among teams, organizations, and stakeholders off the turf.
