What's happening: Smith School's Gizmos and Gadgets Club and RHS's Ramsey Dusters Club showcased STEM projects at the Ramsey Library's NJ Maker's Day event. Makers Day events play a crucial role in promoting creativity, innovation, and hands-on learning, especially in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields.
Why it matters: Student demonstrations showcased proficiency in coding, engineering, electronics, and design, highlighting their mastery of technical skills and their ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical applications.
Special thanks to teachers Dale Poage and Jeremy Truppi from Ramsey Schools for their collaboration.
What’s next: Join us at the "STEM Showcase" on March 21st at Eric S. Smith Middle School's gym from 7 - 8:30pm to see more from the club members. This event is open to all in the community.
