Why it matters: This state-of-the-art playground will provide Dater’s 4th and 5th grades with great opportunities for the free play that is so important for healthy child development.
Award-Winning Design: The playground has been recognized as a National Demonstration Site for using an innovative design where both physical and social inclusion can occur to the greatest extent possible. This aligns with our commitment to developing a culture of inclusion and belonging.
PlayCore’s National Demonstration Site program was conceived to recognize thoughtfully planned outdoor play environments that ensure that people of all ages and abilities can be physically and socially active through play and recreation. Communities that are recognized can create positive attention and attract partners and funding that support this social capital.
