From RHS to the elementary schools, THANK YOU ALL for supporting our Best Buddies fundraiser and celebrating Autism Acceptance Month along with us. YOU make this community brighter with your kindness and a place where “everybuddy” belongs 💫.

Can the way to get to two different places be the same? You don’t win State Championships with the work you do in one season. The success of our athletic teams, musical performers, and other competitive groups begins at home, and it is built overtime through rec programs, trainers, clubs, camps, coaching, and hours of time spent honing talent and skills. I am at Town Hall in New York City with Ramsey High School’s Ram Jams. They are preparing to complete in the 2025 INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP OF HIGH SCHOOL A CAPPELLA FINALS. This group has put in countless hours over multiple years in getting ready to deliver a performance on the BIG STAGE. We are a 19 minute walk and .9 miles from Carnegie Hall. If you ask someone how to get to Carnegie Hall, the common response is…practice! The way to any BIG STAGE is practice. Congrats to the Ram Jams on earning your place here. I am confident you will deliver a stellar performance on the BIG STAGE that is Town Hall.

RHS students will continue to carefully weigh many factors before making their final decisions about the next chapter in their journey. Decision time is quickly approaching! ⏰

When the opportunities in the community are limited, we come together and create them. An incredible time was had by all, and we cannot wait for the next class.

Best Buddies supported The Hidden Happiness Project, a movement to spread kindness at Pascack Hills High School and to celebrate the life of a student gone too soon. While our friends in Pascack Hills' Unified Club decorated rocks with positive messages, Best Buddies did the same at RHS. We then exchanged rocks at our Unified Track and Field meet. We cannot wait to spread the happiness, love, and kindness across our school and community.

As a mother hugged her son with pride after a Unified track meet today, she turned to the coach and stated, "You've given me moments as a parent that I never thought I would experience." We often forget about the challenges our neurodiverse students face when wanting to be a part of something in their communities and the lack of inclusive opportunities that exist in their day-to-day lives. Unified Sports has opened the doors for so many of our athletes and their families...and this is only the beginning!

S.T.E.P. x Madame Vlasova's French 3 & AP French classes are cooking up something fun for World Language Open Mic. This collaboration was filled with learning, laughter, and yes...even some dancing. We can't wait to see you all on the big day!

Don't forget to sign up for the World Language Open Mic happening this Thursday in the Media Center during lunch! Express yourself in any language!

Our Unified Track & Field team joined in on the festivities during RHS’s track and field practice today. We played games, practiced our events, and most importantly, cheered each other on. We are looking forward to our first track meet this upcoming week!
