Today in 7th grade science is part two of an exploration of our cells. Yesterday, students observed cheek cells and today they are observing their skin cells to see similarities and differences between our body cells.
Mr. Jenkins and RHS Band members came down to visit the 8th Grade Band at Smith School! Students learned all about the RHS Band program and had a blast practicing their music together. Let's go Big Blue!

Smith's Community Service Club presents The 2024 SOUPer Bowl collection!!! Next week participate in some football & school spirit while supporting community members in need. All proceeds go to Ramsey Responds!
Wednesday, 2/7: SOUPER Bowl Kick Off! Bring a can of soup and wear any football jersey
Thursday, 2/8: Keep The Game Going! Bring in a can of soup and wear your Super Bowl LVIII pick colors (49ers or Chiefs)
Friday, 2/9: Score The Winning Goal! Bring in a can of soup and wear purple and/or your PS I LOVE YOU Gear in support of Mental Health Awareness
The Smith Homeroom with the most SOUP donations wins a PIZZA LUNCH!!!!
The 7th grade French students at Smith each received a handwritten letter and video from their pen-pals in France. They were so excited to learn about their new friends and experience this real world opportunity. We are eager to write them back and make new connections!
Ms. Broderick and Ms. Donohue's 7th grade scientists present their findings! After their unit of study on Energy, students were tasked with choosing a renewable energy source to research and present on why it is the best source to use. Students spent weeks conducting their research and compiling their findings in order to present in front of classmates and teachers!
Mrs Chakmakjian, Humanities Coach, working with 7th grade social studies classes on developing good questions for their civics action project!
