New in 24-25, we’re adding something called Community Meetings that will take place one time per month for 30 minutes led by our specialists, Mrs. Campbell, Mrs. Camina and Mrs. Cedola.
Why it matters: Community meetings will be a time for students to come together with their grade to engage in experiences and discussions about topics such as being a good citizen at school, making responsible choices and being a good friend.
Since our specialists see all students in every grade, they will be able to tailor lessons to meet specific needs.
This is just another way we’re supporting the social and emotional growth of our students so they feel safe, welcome and ready to learn at school every day!
What’s next: Community meetings begin in October. At the end of the month, be sure to ask your child about what they discussed and find ways to support these topics at home!
