AP Environmental Science students gathered human survivorship data from Union Cemetery yesterday. They will use the data collected to analyze survivorship trends from Pre-1900 to Post-1900. This field trip also had students uncover information about local historical figures such as John Y. Dater and Peter Ramsey.

AP Research students learned about replicability, feasibility, and limitations of research methods with cookies! 🍪 Students followed each other's written procedures to try to replicate their original cookie designs!

Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving filled with warmth, joy, and meaningful connections with family and friends. 🍂 🐏

Our first annual Best Buddies Friendsgiving was a huge success! As Thanksgiving approaches, we want to take a moment to express just how grateful we are for each and every one of you who makes RHS such a special place for all. Wishing you all a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Congratulations to Team Notorious D.I.G. on their big win last night! The Students vs. Staff Volleyball tournament was a big success thanks to our participants and the Student Congress reps who worked to sell tickets, referee, man refreshments, emcee and keep score. Together, we raised $600 to help adopt a Ramsey family for the holidays!

What started as a vision has become a reality in the Ramsey High School Media Center—a dynamic space buzzing with collaboration, creativity, and productivity. Today, as you walk through its doors, the vision comes to life:
🎙️ A class connects with a Rutgers guest speaker via Zoom.
🤝 District staff collaborates in Room 2, while a teacher works solo in Room 1.
🎨 Students create projects using Creation Station tools.
🖨️ Staff print materials on the poster printer.
💺 Students settle into cozy seating and carrels for focused study.

Come out tonight to see who will bump, set, spike their way into infamy as students take on staff in the annual Volleyball Tourney! Tourney begins at 6 in the lower gym!

We're rolling into an incredible season of Unified Bowling at Ramsey High School! The lanes are ready, the energy is high, and we're set to celebrate teamwork, inclusion, and friendly competition. A successful trip to Rutgers with STEP and RHS's girls basketball team to watch a basketball game and honor the County Teachers of the Year!

Gratitude cards, sports, card games, great conversations & friendship are the perfect ingredients for a successful Best Buddies lunch. We are thankful to have a safe space at RHS where all students are included & have opportunities to learn from one another. Kindness and empathy filled the room today, leaving us feeling grateful for the time we spend together.

S.T.E.P. students successfully fundraised to bring MEVO Farms to our classroom! Together, we learned how to make natural lib balm using bee’s wax and essential oils. We then learned how to make tea out of chamomile, rose buds, and lavender. Our hope is to create our own lip balms and tea to sell at our coffee and tea cart business and during the holidays!

After MEVO taught us how to make lip balm and tea in our classroom, our STEP students were excited to visit one of their two farms to see where the magic happens. We learned about the crops grown at the farm, the type of work done throughout the year and ways in which we could help, and had the opportunity to make our own salad using the crops we harvested.
