This week, the STEM Starters Club engaged 4th graders in some fun, hands-on discovery. All lessons were designed by the high schoolers!

On Saturday, March 21st the RHS Jazz Band performed at the Livingston High School Jazz Festival. They received a Gold Rating and Best Trombone Section. Regan Vintaloro won an outstanding soloist award on Drum Set.
This week, AP Environmental Science students conducted a water quality test at Garrison Pond. They collected and analyzed data on the following: turbidity, pH, dissolved oxygen, biological oxygen demand, nitrate, and phosphate levels, to assess the health of the ecosystem. 🧪💧
New partnership alert! S.T.E.P. at RHS is excited to partner with 3 Chicas Mexican Kitchen in Wyckoff to build our vocational and life skills. It's meaningful relationships with local businesses that help our students gain real-life experiences and prepare for transition to life after high school. We cannot wait to see what is to come with Mr. Lee as one of our new bosses.
It was a TOUGH day at work for Agents Biggan, Thumm, and DeMartino along with their special force of teachers. For weeks, S.T.E.P. students at RHS planned a Mystery Bake-Off. Four groups, four desserts, four secret ingredients. The task? Agents had to identify which secret ingredient was used in each dessert. Let's just say that most did not detect that students used tofu, beets, zucchini, and sweet potatoes! Although these agents failed at their mission, they left with very full stomachs.
