Ramsey Unified 🎳 fell a little short playing against West Milford Unified, but we ended the week with a win against Pascack Hills Unified. The best part of both matches? Easy...the relationships we continue to build between districts, coaches, and most importantly, athletes of all abilities as we strive to make sports inclusive of all.

Fun with science across the grade levels! 🧪 Ms. Fromkin and the RHS STEM Starters Club went to Dater to teach a group of 4th graders how to make lava lamps out of household materials! The 4th graders made observations and learned about the science involved in the fun activity from the high schoolers!

To kick off an energy unit in Ms. Leschak's AP Environmental Science class, students were tasked in creating a digital or physical superhero, villain and sidekick based on their energy source. Superheroes consisted of renewable energy while villains were nonrenewable. They shared information about their AI or physically drawn superheroes/villains in a round of speed dating.

"...I pledge to overcome the fear of difference and replace it with the power of inclusion." -Inclusion Pledge, Special Olympics This dynamic duo serves as RHS's representatives for Unified Champion Schools' Youth Activation Committee for the state of NJ. As advocates for inclusion, they met virtually with other student reps of Unified Champion schools across the state to begin planning for Week of Inclusion in March. We are proud of the work you are both putting into making our school a place where ALL are celebrated, embraced, and loved.
