Ramsey has a rich tradition in musical education and programs. Big Blue specifically has been recognized over the decades for its excellence. Over the past decade, the choral program has grown and earned its fair share of accolades. This past year we made a conscious effort to invest in theater education by introducing a theater program at the middle school for the first time.

We are thrilled to announce that Mrs. Margarita Diakos, a dedicated and inspirational educator at Ramsey High School, has been honored as the Bergen County Teacher of the Year! She will serve in this role for the 2024-2025 school year. This is the first time a teacher from Ramsey has been recognized with this prestigious award.

That's a wrap for Unified Track & Field! We had an incredible time competing at NJSIAA's Unified Track & Field Meet of Champions. Congratulations to Brielle who won 1st place out of all athletes in our bracket for the 200 meter dash & Josue who won 6th place out of all athletes in our bracket for the 400 meter dash. 👏 to the entire Unified team on a great first season. Go Rams!
Our Special Olympics athletes and coaches dormed at TCNJ last weekend to compete in the Summer Games for track and field! Congratulations to these Rams who displayed independence, incredible sportsmanship, and determination throughout the weekend. What a memorable experience for all!
Best Buddies ended the year with a tie-dye party and a warm farewell to all of our seniors. It was a bittersweet ending to an incredible year together. Looking forward to next school year!!

Congratulations to Katie Rubin, Emmy Bender, Jamie Gorman and Kate Marie Monaco, 6th place in the 4x800 at the State Meet of Champions with a new season best time of 9:29.83! Second fastest time in school history!
🏃🏼♀️👏Special shout out to RHS Senior, Jamie Gorman, who finished her Ramsey Track career with one of the best final meets in school history! Jamie ran a new PR of 2:18.84 on the 4x800 and a new PR of 61.72 on the 4x400!
RHS Senior Ana Bajic painted this beautiful rendering of the cover art from Elizabeth Acevedo's picture book, "Inheritence." We were lucky to have Acevedo sign it at her visit in April. This ceiling tile will be displayed in Mrs. Altiero's English classroom for all to enjoy.
