We had a blast taking a Zumba class for Fiona's and Shankar's profile projects at the Ramsey Senior Community Center. We danced and exercised, we laughed, and we mingled with the community. Rumor has it that even the teacher had the time of her life 💃!
S.T.E.P. is so proud of being a part of Kacey's profile project. Together, we worked on completing care packages for patients undergoing chemotherapy at Valley Hospital, and Kacey had the honor of seeing her hard work and its positive impact on others over the break. Thank you for including us, Kacey!

December was so good to us - from collaborating at the Friendship Cafe with the girls 🏀 team, a S.T.E.P. bake-off and cookie exchange, our annual Smith and RHS holiday party, holiday fun with friends from other high schools, to a gingerbread house competition and more. We are so excited for what January will bring. Happy New Year to all!

Our last lab day of 2023 in AP Environmental Science was all about finding how salinization affects the growth of plants, specifically mung beans and radishes! Students grew 150 seeds per group in various salt concentrations to see the effects. Their experiments were set up last week and measured today.

Our Student Congress Elves are busy assembling Candy Cane Grams for their friends and teachers! Proceeds of this annual fundraiser go toward sponsoring families this holiday season. We are thankful to Ramsey Responds for partnering with us in this meaningful project! 🎁
