The RHS Mock Trial team recently conducted a practice trial with retired United States District Judge Jack Bissell. The team is preparing to compete against other Bergen teams at the county courthouse in January. Go Rams!
S.T.E.P. has been hard at work during our OT sessions in learning about Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge, communicating with them to identify what they are in need of to support the animals in their shelter, and coming up with a fundraising plan to help. We watched Home Alone, made fresh popcorn, and even helped a buddy complete her profile project by creating cards for patients at Valley Hospital undergoing chemotherapy. S.T.E.P. celebrated La fête de St. Nicolas with the French club today! Madame Vlasova taught us about the history of this holiday, new French words, a song, & fun traditions. Together, we all made shoes to leave outside for St. Nicolas to bring us "bonbons", or candy, & enjoyed delicious French pastries. What a fun & engaging collaboration.
