
Our last lab day of 2023 in AP Environmental Science was all about finding how salinization affects the growth of plants, specifically mung beans and radishes! Students grew 150 seeds per group in various salt concentrations to see the effects. Their experiments were set up last week and measured today.

Our Student Congress Elves are busy assembling Candy Cane Grams for their friends and teachers! Proceeds of this annual fundraiser go toward sponsoring families this holiday season. We are thankful to Ramsey Responds for partnering with us in this meaningful project! π

Nikolas Milne (class of 2021) is the latest to visit and sign Ms. Robertson's alumni board! Nikolas graduated from The Culinary Institute of America and has started a successful culinary career in NYC! So proud of you Nikolas!



Lindsey Bremer and Madi Stitz as part of their DECA Community Giving and Senior Profile Project hosted a toy drive and holiday party at the Kireker Child Development Center at Valley Hospital. Madi and Lindsey with the help of community members and RHS students collected 152 toys for the children at the center. In addition to donating the toys, Madi and Lindsey along with Alicia Brownstein hosted a holiday party at the center where they created arts and crafts with the children and provided snacks and drinks.




The RHS Chorus, Ram Jams, and Ramsey Blues had a great concert last week. Thanks to all who came out!

My baking team did a great job with the cake challenge: chocolate, gluten free cake with raspberry filling and cream cheese icing - AND in the shape of the UNH logo to celebrate my daughter home from college! Thank you, Ms. V., for such a creative project!

Our Girls Wrestling Team had a successful weekend! At the Garfield Girls Wrestling Tournament, Isabella Santonocito and Paige Kirk each took first place in their weight class! They also both took 2nd place at the Bloomfield Tournament! Many of our athletes wrestled their way into the finals! We are so proud of these strong ladies!




In Winter Track action, Brad Weiner took 2nd place in the Ursinus College Holiday Invite Shot Put with a throw of 47'!
Ashleigh Gorman took 2nd place in the High Jump with a clear of 4'11"
The Girls Distance Medley (Katie Rubin, Julia Costa, Kate Marie Monaco and Anna Lynch) took 2nd overall at UC Holiday Classic.
