🌟At Tisdale, our school counselor, Ms. Collado, visited Tisdale classrooms to review the Mood Meter and introduce new vocabulary to help students describe their emotions. The Mood Meter, a tool from the RULER SEL program, supports students in building self and social awareness as they learn to recognize, understand, and express their feelings. 💡💙

This required students to color portions of a picture based on the musical changes they heard, such as fast, gentle, strong, and more! 🧠🎧🖍️
During math centers, students in 2B are playing "5 in a Row with Four Cards." ➕ This game helps them strengthen their addition fluency by adding two numbers and covering the sum. I'm so proud of these second graders for staying fully engaged and showing excellent communication and collaboration skills! 💙

Third graders in Mrs. Clewley's class are exploring the foundations of multiplication. By arranging groups of 12 "chairs," drawing it on grid paper, and labeling the dimensions, they're learning the different factors to make the product 12, and discovering the commutative property. ✏️💛
