Today at Tisdale, we had a very special visit from some friendly therapy dogs!. The children loved meeting, petting, and learning how these dogs help people feel safe and comfortable.
Tisdale preschoolers strengthened their fine motor skills AND shifted their perspective—literally! They lay on their backs to draw on paper taped UNDER the table. Changing perspective helps children see familiar tasks in a new way, encouraging flexible thinking, problem-solving, and creativity. Sometimes a simple shift, like coloring upside down, opens the door to big discoveries!
Rain or shine, nothing stops us from prepping for Field Day! Tisdale students are mastering their striking skills with mini golf!
Last week in our Spanish class Tisdale students learned about and celebrated Cinco de Mayo!

Tisdale preschoolers arrived to find that our grass seed has started to grow, and our caterpillars have transformed into chrysalises! The morning was filled with noticing all changes (big and small), making careful observations, and sharing interesting predictions.

Tisdale character traits in action! Marco received the Ram Ribbon because he demonstrated patience, empathy, kindness and generosity as he helped a friend who was having a difficult time. Way to go, Marco! Tisdale is proud of you!
