Brewed up some kindness at RHS today! The Ramsey Bean crew delivered coffee and tea to RHS staff to show our appreciation for all that they do for students. Thank you to the PTSO for helping us fund this act of kindness. Happy Teacher Appreciation Week, RHS 🍎.
In April, S.T.E.P. joined forces with Madame Vlasova's French students and visited the MoMA, learning about various pieces of art and French artists. Today, S.T.E.P. reunited with Madame Vlasova and joined the French Club to make teacher appreciation cards incorporating Impressionism, an art movement developed in France in the 19th century. We hope teachers enjoy their cards and the funny French messages inside! Thank you Madame for always including us!
S.T.E.P. students learned about empathy while collaborating with Kate on her profile project. After role-playing scenarios to learn how to practice being empathetic towards others and brainstorming ways to express empathy, we created cards for patients undergoing physical therapy due to having various injuries. This is a project that Kate feels very connected to, and we learned so much from the activities she planned for us.
Enjoying time and coffee with Ms. Diakos' students and Mr. DiTomaso!! Thank you!!

After their performance, they went to a separate room to sight read or play a piece of music that they have never seen before. I am so proud of Erika for hosting an amazing Ukrainian feast today for our students and staff. We sampled delicious food and learned about her culture. This is just one piece of Erica's profile project. She is also accepting donations for the Red Cross to help with the war efforts.
Vote for Julia Costa for Track performer of the week! The junior ran a great leg in the 4-x-100 relay at Penn, leading the Rams to a school record 49.56 clocking, the best by any North Jersey team. She then led off the 4-x-400 team in 58.73 to give the Rams the lead they never relinquished in a plaque winning 4:02.17 effort. https://www.northjersey.com/story/sports/high-school/track/2024/04/29/vote-girls-track-and-field-performer-of-the-week-for-april-22-28/73499693007/
